Bespoke Snowsports was established in Saas-Fee in 2010. Drawn to the consistent snow conditions and the vast, varied alpine terrain, we made our home in this authentic car-free town in the heart of the Alps, and we have been teaching here ever since.

We are a small international team of dedicated professionals with years of expertise. Our personalised approach goes above and beyond the usual ski and snowboard school product, creating lasting relationships with our guests.

We offer a wide variety of lessons in more than four languages. Book a 2.5-hour session in the morning or afternoon, extend it, or ride with your instructor for a full day. For three sessions or more, we include a personalised video edit of your riding, the perfect tool to keep progressing after your holiday.

Our snowboard school welcomes riders of all ages. Beginner snowboard lessons start from 7 years old, and children younger than 7 who can already ride and have equipment small enough are welcome too. There is no upper age limit, so anyone can come to improve their riding or try snowboarding for the first time. Whether you are a child excited to strap in or an adult aiming to perfect your technique, our instructors are ready to welcome you.

Our snowboard school caters to riders of all levels, from first-timers to advanced snowboarders. Our experienced instructors can teach you at any stage of your snowboarding journey and give you personalised guidance for your goals.

For those who want to progress further, we offer specialised sessions in freestyle, freeride and carving. These sessions are designed for advanced snowboarders who want to challenge themselves and take their riding to the next level.

We also make sure beginners have a great first experience on a snowboard. Learning to ride can be tough in the first days, so our patient instructors break it down into simple steps, from finding your balance to linking your first turns.

Kids snowboard lesson in Saas-Fee

Children (Ages 3-11)

At Bespoke Snowsports, we make snowboarding fun for kids. Our lessons are designed to be engaging and playful, tailored to each child’s interests and learning style, so they enjoy it from the very first lesson.

Beginner snowboard lessons start from 7 years old, when children have the strength and coordination to control the board. Younger children who can already ride are welcome, with shorter lessons adapted to their attention span.

For kids aged 7 to 11, we offer personalised private lessons starting at 2.5 hours. These sessions build real skills through games and challenges that inspire a love for snowboarding.

Safety is our top priority in every activity. At Bespoke Snowsports, we are dedicated to helping every child develop a lifelong passion for snowboarding.

Teenagers (Ages 12-15)

At Bespoke Snowsports, we know teenagers want to be challenged. Our lessons for ages 12 to 15 suit beginners and advanced riders alike, in a fun and supportive environment.

From the first lesson, we focus on building confidence and skill. Our experienced instructors tailor each private lesson to the teenager’s needs, ensuring personalised support and the right level of challenge.

I had two amazing sessions with Patrick—he first diagnosed what needed to be improved, then prioritized it so we could focus on the most important parts first. After two sessions, it already helped me, and I now know exactly what I need to fix technically and how to actually do it.

Patrick is very punctual, easygoing, and has a great sense of humor. He’s also very patient and repeats things again and again until you get it. Highly recommended.

As for the school itself, the whole process was fast and smooth. I knew exactly where to meet and when. I know it may sound silly, but I’ve had some not-so-great experiences with other schools in the past.

Communication around the scheduling and rescheduling was very easy and convenient, the team is approachable and responsive. That was just the start, we then got to meet the teacher, Patrick. Simply fantastic, Patrick is able to communicate with children, putting him at their level, gain their trust and truly encourage them to move forward. Most frequent questions & answers
FAQ

Saas-Fee is a high-altitude resort and most of its slopes face north, so temperatures can be quite low, especially in January. The upside is some of the most reliable snow in the Alps. As in every mountain resort the weather is hard to predict, but March and April tend to be the sunniest months.

Private lessons can be booked in English, German, French, Dutch, Spanish and more, subject to availability. Let us know your preferred language when you book.

In the mountains the weather can change quickly, so we recommend wearing several layers that you can add or remove during the day. You will need a waterproof jacket and trousers, a helmet or hat, gloves and eye protection such as goggles or sunglasses. On snowy or foggy days a low-light lens (yellow or pink) is best. Children under 16 must wear a helmet in our lessons. Helmets are not compulsory for adults, but we highly recommend them.

Saas-Fee has plenty of mountain restaurants, from self-service to full-service gourmet dining, and several restaurants at the base of the beginner slopes with large terraces overlooking the snow. For full details, check the link below. We are happy to book a table on your behalf: just let the office or your instructor know at least one day in advance.

There are several ski rental shops in Saas-Fee. We recommend Cesar Sports, who offer a 10% discount on equipment rental to all Bespoke Snowsports clients.

We teach children from 3 years old in private ski lessons. Private snowboard lessons for beginners start from 7 years old. If your child is younger than 7 but can already snowboard and has equipment small enough, we can also give them lessons.

If you have booked private lessons, your instructor can meet you at several places in the resort: the Plattjen / Spielboden gondola station, the Alpin Express gondola station, or the Kalbermatten beginner slopes (lift ticket office). Intermediate and advanced skiers can also meet their instructor on the slopes at the Morenia restaurant. Please confirm your meeting point with the office when you book.

All visitors to Saas-Fee who pay the tourist tax at their hotel or apartment receive a SaastalCard. It gives you discounted lift passes, free local buses and offers on other activities and products in the valley.
