A ski safari in Switzerland is the best way to see more of the Alps during your holiday. Your instructor collects you in Saas-Fee, travels with you by private transport to the resort of your choice and spends the whole day showing you its best runs, with coaching along the way.

Popular destinations include Zermatt, Crans-Montana, Lauchernalp, Bettmeralp, Leukerbad and other Magic Pass resorts. The Val d’Anniviers, with Grimentz and Zinal, is also available on request. We help you choose the right resort for your level, the conditions and what you want to see.

Each Ski Safari is fully tailored: you choose the pace, the terrain and the balance between guided skiing and instruction. It is a day you will talk about for years.

Who is a Ski Safari
for?

A Ski Safari is ideal for individuals, families and small groups who ski confidently on red runs and want to explore new terrain, new views and new mountain villages. It is especially popular with guests staying a week or more in Saas-Fee, and with anyone who has always wanted to ski under the Matterhorn.

What is included
in a Ski Safari?

Included: a full day of private guiding with instruction, planned around your group and the conditions on the day.

Supplements: return private transport is charged per group, and lift passes for guests and the instructor are required unless the resort is covered by the Magic Pass. We give you the full details when you book.

Planning: we check the weather and snow forecast with you before the day and can switch destination if another resort offers better conditions.

I had two amazing sessions with Patrick—he first diagnosed what needed to be improved, then prioritized it so we could focus on the most important parts first. After two sessions, it already helped me, and I now know exactly what I need to fix technically and how to actually do it.

Patrick is very punctual, easygoing, and has a great sense of humor. He’s also very patient and repeats things again and again until you get it. Highly recommended.

As for the school itself, the whole process was fast and smooth. I knew exactly where to meet and when. I know it may sound silly, but I’ve had some not-so-great experiences with other schools in the past.

Communication around the scheduling and rescheduling was very easy and convenient, the team is approachable and responsive. That was just the start, we then got to meet the teacher, Patrick. Simply fantastic, Patrick is able to communicate with children, putting him at their level, gain their trust and truly encourage them to move forward. Zermatt, Crans-Montana, Lauchernalp, Bettmeralp, Leukerbad and other Magic Pass resorts, as well as the Val d’Anniviers on request. Tell us what you would like to see and we will suggest the best option.

Return private transport is available as a supplement per group. We organise it for you.

Yes, unless the resort is covered by the Magic Pass. Your instructor also needs a lift pass for that resort. We explain the options when you book.

We check the forecast with you beforehand and can change the destination or the date. Safety and a good day on the snow always come first.

Mountain weather changes fast, so dress in layers you can add or remove. You need a waterproof jacket and trousers, gloves, a helmet or hat, and goggles or sunglasses. On snowy or foggy days a low-light lens (yellow or pink) helps a lot. Helmets are compulsory for children under 16 in our lessons and strongly recommended for adults.

Our international team teaches in English, German, French, Spanish, Dutch and more, subject to availability. Tell us your preferred language when you book.

There are several rental shops in the village. We recommend Cesar Sports, who give all Bespoke Snowsports guests 10% off ski and snowboard rental. If you are not sure what to rent for your session, ask us when you book and we will point you in the right direction.
