Intro to Ski Racing
Your first run through the gates
Ski racing is the purest test of technique. In this ski racing lesson in Saas-Fee, you learn how racers use their edges, their line and their timing to go faster with less effort. Your instructor starts with race-specific drills on open slopes, then introduces a simple course so you can put it all together.
Saas-Fee has a long tradition of ski racing, and its glacier is a well-known training ground for race teams. It is the perfect place to find out what the sport is all about.
Even if you never plan to race, the skills you learn here, from early edging to strong, stable positions at speed, will change the way you ski the rest of the mountain.
